A lifelong student of human behavior and lover of humans in general, her coaching practice focuses on helping creative people connect to their own voice and greatness through a mix of deep empathy, compassionate curiosity, no-nonsense truth-telling, irrepressible humor, and an imagination filled with possibility.

Anna’s style blends life-coaching and writing coaching as she helps her clients with brainstorming, breaking story, finding their structure, developing characters, crafting themes, overcoming obstacles, and staying connected to their work’s emotional tide. She provides support, accountability, encouragement, advice, and thoughtful feedback. This work aids clients in gleaning what they want, clearing out what’s in the way, and designing a writing schedule that works best for them. 

Her philosophy comes from a background in performance and storytelling honed throughout a decade-long career as an actress, stand-up comic, and screenwriter in Los Angeles and New York. She has worked behind and in front of the camera on high-profile primetime television and film productions, served as an in-house writer for Disney Animation, and penned screenplays for Disney, Sony, Warner Brothers, and Paramount. She has also been competitively recognized as a playwright, poet, and comic.

Anna lives near the beach in South Portland, Maine with her ocean activist husband, hilarious Dungeons and Dragons obsessed teenage son, and dingbat chocolate lab. In her free time, she can be found hauling lobster traps as a sternman in Casco Bay.
